Title 1 Reading
New Franklin Elementary is accepting applications for a Title 1 Reading position for the 2025-26 school year. Classroom experience and specialized training such as LETRS, Science of Reading, RTI, and data collection and analysis, is preferred but not required. New Franklin is an innovative school, looking for a motivated individual to become part of our learning community.

Parents As Teachers Teacher
New Franklin R-1 School District is accepting applications for a PAT Educator for the 2025-26 school year. A parent educator works with families and their children from prenatal through kindergarten entry using skills in partnering, facilitating and reflecting with parents. Parent Educators provide parent education and family support to enhance the quality of parenting, and increase a parent's understanding of child development and work with parents to help their child learn, grow and develop to meet their full developmental potential. Full Time Custodial Staff
The New Franklin School District is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our custodial staff as a full-time employee starting in August 2025. This position is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include: Perform daily cleaning and minor maintenance of school buildings, including classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas as set forth in the custodial staff expectations; ensure the school remains safe and sanitary by following cleaning protocols; assist with setting up and tearing down for school events and activities; assist with painting, buffing and waxing of floors, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor; operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning supplies; maintain grounds, including snow removal and lawn care as needed; and follow safety procedures and school district guidelines. Qualifications include: Prior custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail and reliability; physical ability to lift, carry, climb a ladder, and perform tasks requiring movement throughout the shift; and willingness to complete training on cleaning protocols and equipment use. This is a full time position with competitive wages, Monday-Friday schedule and has benefits available including paid time off and retirement options. The New Franklin School District is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our kitchen staff as a full-time employee starting in August 2025. This position offers the opportunity to work in a positive and supportive environment, helping to provide nutritious meals to our students. Responsibilities include: Prepare and serve meals following school nutrition guidelines; assist with food prep, cooking, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness; operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; ensure proper food storage and sanitation practices; work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and school personnel; and assist with inventory, stocking, and ordering supplies as needed. Qualifications include: Prior food service experience preferred but not required; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to lift and stack 30 lb boxes of food and supplies; strong teamwork and communication skills; knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (or willingness to learn) and dependable with a positive attitude. Substitute Bus Driver (staff application)
The New Franklin R-1 School District is accepting applications for a substitute school bus driver. Bus drivers are responsible for operating a school bus and transporting school-aged children and other authorized personnel safely and efficiently over specified routes from school and various activities. Job duties include, but are not limited to, conducting pre-trip inspections; observing safety regulations and policies, and enforcing student discipline. Applicants must pass a background check and have a MO Class B driver’s license with passenger and school bus endorsements. Training will be provided.
