The goal of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is to protect the health and well-being of the nation's children by providing nutritious school meals every day. NSLP provides funding that makes it possible for schools to offer a nutritious school lunch. Schools receive Federal funds for each breakfast and lunch served, provided that the meal meets established nutrition standards. 

FAQ's
Applications can be accepted on/after July 1 every year.
Those receiving SNAP will automatically receive these benefits.
The program allows students to get a full meal, including a milk for breakfast/lunch either free or at a reduced rate.  

Extra milk or Ala Carte items are not covered under this program and students would be charged the full price.
