Missouri A+ Program
The A+ Scholarship Program provides scholarship funds to eligible graduates of A+ designated high schools who attend a participating public community college or vocational/technical school, or certain private two-year vocational/technical schools. This is a Missouri scholarship and can only be used at approved Missouri two-year institutions. Some four-year institutions offer small A+ scholarships for students meeting A+ criteria. Students have 48 months (4 years) after the graduation date documented on the high school transcript to use these scholarship funds.

Basic Eligibility
Be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully present in the U.S.
Enter into a written agreement with an A+ high school prior to graduation
Have attended a designated A+ school for any two years prior to graduation.
Graduate from an A+ designated high school with an overall unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Have at least a 95% attendance record for grades 9-12.
Perform at least 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring..
Maintain a record of good citizenship and avoidance of the unlawful use of drugs and/or alcohol.
Achieve a score of Proficient or Advanced on the Algebra I End of course exam or a higher level DESE approved End of Course exam in the field of mathematics.
Postsecondary Eligibility
Enroll and attend full time (minimum of 12 semester credits) at a participating public community college or technical school in the state of Missouri.
Be seeking a degree that is not in theology or divinity.
Not have a criminal record preventing receipt of federal Title IV student financial aid.
Make a good faith effort to secure all available federal financial aid by completing the FAFSA.
College GPA of a 2.0 for renewal each semester.
Complete 12 semester credit hours for renewal each semester.
